For over 60 years Senoplast has dealt with the production of extruded plastic sheets and films for thermoforming and other processing methods. Over the years the company has grown into a specialist for the coextrusion of multi-layer sheets and films and has become known as the technological leader in this field.

From its Austrian headquarters in Piesendorf it provides customers around the world and from all kinds of industries with senosan® products. In 2000 an additional production location opened in Querétaro, Mexico, which meant that customers in the NAFTA area could be served quicker and more efficiently.
Senoplast is certified according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and EMAS.

Products and services

Senoplast has enjoyed global success with innovative and high quality plastic sheets and films made of ABS, ABS/PC, PC, ASA, PMMA and PS as raw materials. In accordance with the company strategy, Senoplast is not just striving for quality and innovation in its existing product portfolio, but will also increase efforts to develop and manufacture products for future markets such as electric transport and medicine technology.

Founding of Senoplast by Wilhelm Klepsch in Kaprun

1972

Start of production of co-extruded sheets

1977

First patent for co-extruded senosan® ABS/PMMA sheets for sanitary applications

1978

Relocation to Piesendorf – the headquarters today

1984

Increase of capacity and expansion of production facilities

1992

Senoplast receives the ISO quality management certification

1998

Founding of Senco R&D – separate company for research and development

1999

Extrusion line for production of sheets up to width of 3000 mm

2000

Founding of Senoplast S.A. de C.V in Querétaro, Mexiko

2004

Extrusion line for production of special films

2006

Founding of Senco (Europe) GmbH – production site under cleanroom conditions for the automotive industry

2011

Founding of Senosan GmbH – focusing on the furniture industry

2013

Generation change at Senoplast: Wilhelm Klepsch becomes Chairman of the Board and his son Günter Klepsch takes over management of Senoplast as CEO.

2015

Senoplast receives award “Austria´s best family business” in the category federal state of Salzburg

2016

Anniversary 60 years Senoplast

2018

Today, Senoplast is a globally active corporation with a strong  commitment to its community in Piesendorf, Austria. The company employs 660 people worldwide.

National award

The National Coat of Arms was awarded to Senoplast Klepsch & Co. GmbH on August 24, 1987 for extraordinary achievements for Austria’s economy. It is a hallmark for the quality of domestic companies and underlines the expertise and quality of the senosan® products. This award enables Senoplast to reach increased international recognition and credibility. Senoplast is a proud berarer of Austrian National Coat of arms.
