The SATTLER-Group is a global company with headquarters in Austria and a leader in manufacturing specialty textiles for outdoor use as well as in planning and implementation of membrane constructions.
Besides the headquarters in Gössendorf, AUT, the company owns three other production sites: one in Rudersdorf in Burgenland, AT, in Greven, North Rhine-Westphalia, DE, and Hudson, North Carolina, US.
The products creation varies from weaving, furnishing or coating, over finishing to the assembly of membrane structures. More than 20 million m² of tissue are produced annually for the world market, around 2 million m² of membranes are further processed.
In-house research and development in all areas contribute to the global success of the company.

Chronicle
The SATTLER Group can look back at 140 years history. Since being founded in 1875, the company is run by the family, now in its fifth generation.
Founded as a trading company in Graz, the production was taken over after a few years. First in Gössendorf and then in Rudersdorf, both still the production sites in Austria.
Company development:
In the 1960s, the switch to synthetic fibers and new furnishing and coating processes was made. This entailed involvement in exports and conquering new markets.
From the 1990s, the growth was strengthened by acquisitions. Finally in 2010 through the acquisition of a sales and production facility in North Carolina.
Today the SATTLER Group presents itself as a global company with the objective of becoming a leader in current business areas.

Apprenticeship is traditional for Sattler. We rely in our training concept on “discovering learning” and focus on an integral support to our apprentices. Besides the purely technical qualification, we support intensively the development of personal and social skills.
In the Sattler group we train around 30 apprentices from 9 qualified jobs.
