The starlim//sterner group with its locations in Austria and Canada, is the worlds biggest processor of liquid silicone rubber by injection molding. High quality products are manufactured for the medical- and pharmaceutical sector, the automotive industry as well as articles for the plumbing/consumer and infant products/toys business.
Currently 350 persons are employed in the plant in Marchtrenk/Austria and 25 people in London, Ontario/Kanada.
starlim//sterner has been rewarded according to § 30a federal education law because of its extraordinary performances in the training of apprentices. At the moment 27 apprentices are employed in technical as well as in business professions at starlim//sterner Austria. The extension of the tool shop allowed an enlargement of the apprentices area-they got their own computer- and education rooms. Investments in education and knowledge of its employees are starlim//sterner’s constant tasks to verify a continuous improvement process.
To hold the balance beside work starlim//sterner offers its employees the possibility of free training in the company-owned fitness area, various events like a paid summer party and skiing day, as well as family-integrative actions like the starlim//sterner “Santa Claus” and a family ramble.

Products and Services
Complete responsibility: From the idea up to mass production
starlim//sterner takes on complete responsibility for development and production orders – from idea to product design, tool engineering, product development, FEA-analysis’, tool making up to the fully automated series production of high volumes. Certifications according to industry-specific standards, a global quality management and state-of-the-art production (clean rooms) are the preconditions therefore.
starlim//sterner offers as well application simulations (for example for seals) wherein permanent function tests, life time-, temperature- and climate tests build the essential elements.
2008 about 4,6 billion parts had been produced.
