Company profile

AT & S Austria Technologie & Systemtechnik AG – first choice for advanced applications
AT&S is the European market leader and one of the leading manufacturers of high-value printed circuit boards. The Group produces leading-edge technologies on an industrial scale for its core markets: mobile devices, automotive and aviation, industrial electronics, medical and health care, and advanced packaging. In 2013 AT&S took the next logical step towards implementing its high-tech strategy by entering the IC substrate business, through a collaboration agreement with a leading global semiconductor manufacturer.

The Group spends around 5% of its annual revenues on research and development, enabling it to anticipate the applications of tomorrow. As an international growth enterprise AT&S has a global presence, with two production facilities in Austria (Leoben and Fehring) and one each in India (Nanjangud), China (Shanghai, Chongqing under construction) and Korea (Ansan, near Seoul). It currently employs about 7,300 people.

The award of the Austrian coat of arms underlines the importance of our headquarters to the country. AT&S is a world leader in the global printed circuit board market, as well as the European market leader and one of the world’s top manufacturers of high-end printed circuit boards. We are one of only a few companies in the industry with operations in Europe, and at the same time we have also enjoyed success in the competitive Asian market. Our customers value quality and governance in line with European standards, and Austria’s long tradition in engineering. An effective balance between high-tech production in Asia and specialised niche manufacturing in Europe is central to our competitive advantage.
